Driving with Sygic navigation systems

There are currently a large number of navigation systems (GPS) in the App Store, but sometimes it is difficult to choose one in particular. For this reason we would like to highlight the GPS it offers Sygic, which meet all the requirements (and more) of what we expect from a traditional GPS to help us drive around cities around the world.

When we open the application, we will find a message about preparing the databases (a process that only takes a few seconds). Then we can select language, voice (Spanish and Catalan are included), distance unit and battery optimizer. The GPS will guide us efficiently through the city, also indicating the state of traffic and offering alternative routes.

Something to note is that heNew map updates are free. In addition, the GPS shows us the maps in 3D. We can also register an account to check-ins at places or we can use the application to perform a local search through Google, view the speed limits of the road we are on, listen to navigation instructions (which can be left in the background), access city guides, check the current weather of the place where we are and much more. You have a list with all the details in the Sygic website.

To all these positive comments we add two other important factors: price (We can buy different maps for very affordable prices) and space (The maps do not usually occupy more than 2Gb, although sometimes you have to make extra downloads for free). The map for Spain ("Iberia") includes Andorra, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Portugal and Gibraltar and is available in the App Store for only 19.99 euros.

I use sygic from its first versions in windows mobile 6, to the current one in iOS, through Symbian or Android ... I have always liked how it works, and although the beginnings of Aura disappointed me a bit, with the current version I am delighted , and each new option that they add from time to time are real hits. That said, totally recommended.

But does this have the radars?

    1.    comber said

By default it has the fixed ones, although I think that via SSH you can put the others. In the old sygic it was very easy and I did it but in this one I have never done it so I can not assure you. Anyway, as they said here, the GPS iPhone Team is working to get them: https://www.actualidadiphone.com/2011/11/25/gps-iphone-team-se-encuentra-trabajando-para-dar-soporte-a-los-gps-de-sygic/

    Hello everyone,
I had a question to see if someone can answer me for sure. Currently I am living outside of Spain, I am panicky using the locator function of the iPhone is not going to be that they give me a stick for using it. Do you know if this function (for example if I want to use GPS without data activated) has data consumption? And the 3G if I only talk on the phone (with data also disabled)?
    Thank you very much

If you have mobile data disabled, don't worry, nothing happens. I have been living in France for a year, with a Leclerc prepaid SIM inserted in the iPhone, and I have never had problems, using the sygic itself regularly. If you want to use the internet or something that needs it, the iPhone will simply tell you that it cannot, that there is no connection.

Hello friend, you have the voices of Gonzalo de Actualidad iPhone on Sygic installed?

          1.    comber said

No ... I have Patricia who makes me more XD

I see that because of the XD you are a Geek with little or no sexual activity, which I see as normal for a sad synthesized woman's voice from a browser to make you horny.
I'm going to give you some advice, take € 50 and go to the best hostess club in your area and employ them by hiring the service of a Prostitute.

And I see that you have little or no sense of humor, apart from a rather dubious spelling: see "voi", "coje", "haiga" ... apart from the null use of accents. I'm not going to talk about my sexual activity, but I'd bet it's better than yours.

I have also used it since when I had Symbian.
    For me is the best.
From time to time they launch offers, I bought the one in Europe for about € 20.
So be careful, they are quite frequent and guarantee all the improvements and the perfect operation.
I repeat, for me the best of all

Furmando as Nacho Vidal I do not know how you can be offended by an innocent comment.

Anyway. We all have a bad day.
