Dualsim for your iPhone with Simore

There aren't really many people who need to use a dual-sim, but they are like the meigas, so there should be them, hailos. Generally executives, business people who want to quickly switch between two numbers or a fan of Stringer Bell ...

The point is that although it seems that it shoots perfectly, what is cheap, it is not. The invention costs 69 euros, a fairly expensive but reasonable price because it is something complex and difficult to adapt, even more so to an iPhone.

My recommendation is that if you need two numbers and an iPhone is mandatory, the other mobile that is something like Sony Ericsson W890 or similar, as finite as possible and to run. But that already decides each one ...

How few people use two sim cards ??? what world do you live in? there are many of us who need a card for our relatives, including a girlfriend, and another card for our 'friends'. I have an iPhone and a sony-ericsson w350i, and I am really looking forward to having only one of them, carrying two mobile phones is a pain in the neck, no matter how small they are. As soon as the Sony-Ericsson Rachel goes on sale, I give passports to these two that I have.

good! you had several questions about this invention, such as:
    Where can I get it?
Do you need any additional software?
If the previous answer was affirmative, what risks are there that the device will stop working with a jailbreak or simply with a software update or restoration?
I wait for the answers from some of you since I need to have two SIMs on top (therefore 2 mobile phones), luckily they are both movistar, and this article would be great for me. Thanks in advance.

Hehe, the reference to The Wire is cool ...

As for Jesus' comment… Girlfriend and friends? LOL. One's mobile is sacred, that nobody touches it and shoots miles with a single number 🙂

Let's see, the million dollar question is: are both numbers active at the same time? Either one sounds, ummh yes, I'm already catching one, if no…. We will continue with the second mobile pain.

In what world does this one who has written the article live !!! Damn, I know more peña with 2 mobiles (one for work and another for personal), than people who only have one for everything….

I agree that there are many of us who need two cards. In my case it is because I have two mobiles, mine and work (and I am not a manager or anything).

What you do need to know before spending 70 euros on a card is whether it allows you to receive SMS, choose which SIM to call with or with which you use the data rate ...

  7.   daWEEd said

    And another question,…

If one card has a data plan and the other does not, how do you make the "other" suck from the data plan of the first?

  8.   rafancp said

It sounds sloppy to me! By the way, I have to use 3 cell phones, and my lady is already up to the crown of sewing broken pockets!

I have experimented with this with the cards, and it seems that it works, but you have to be careful with which phone you try it.
In my case an iPhone 3G, phones: the staff and the job (this by obligation, what a remedy, like many of us ...), so far everything is correct.

Buying online, like almost everything interesting, the Bilbao company sent me the card in 3 days, what a great illusion, I was finally going to get rid of it
    above the two mobiles.

From here the problems begin… ..you have to load the two sim cards you have, since you only have to cut the chip and throw away the rest of the
plastic, like shit it, to buy you a new one, by phone 6 euros… ..

Once you have cut them, it is time to mark the chip's, and once everything is assembled, you realize that the slot that the iPhone has is too much
thin and does not pass the new sim card that you have bought, which already has both chip's, with which either you screw ... or force the card until it is
    put through the hole ……

once inside, well ... .. through the settings options, on the phone, a new option comes out with which you manage the two numbers, so yes, just
You can have one active, in the other you can only divert calls, you can change from one to another without turning off the phone and the agenda is the same for
both, since this is on the iphone.

Now to get it out, I almost took over the carcass…. So after the experience, I spoke with my company and they made a dual card of
telephone and it is almost the same…. the problem is that the phones must be from timofonica.

It is my experience, I am not saying that others do not do better ...

I am one of the 2 numbers. But, what is the point of having 2 cards if only 1 is active ??? I had a Samsung D800 that has dual sims, the 2 active and the operation is IMPECCABLE (I gave it to my mother).
I carry my iphone and a SE w705 (small and a lot of battery to give it a shot and save more of the iphone)
    regards

To the SE (in my case w880) we have signed up many

I have two numbers for work issues, but since they are both Movistar I have a dual card. Each number has a PIN and you choose at any time which one to have active. In order not to lose the calls of the one that is not active, what they do to you automatically is a free diversion from one number to the other and vice versa. I don't know, I'm doing fine.

thanks mianrema !! It has become clear to me and it was what I imagined .. kaka la vaka!

In Spain you cannot have two numbers active at the same time, the network does not allow it (and they are not interested).

  15.   rafancp said

In Spain you can have two active numbers but as long as you have a phone that supports dual sim like the Samsung duos. There are also twin vodafone cards or movistar cards that allow you to alternate between several numbers depending on the pin with which you turn on the phone or directly from the operator menu on the phone.

Rafa, to see assets or not to see what you call your asset, that when they call you to one of them they divert the call ???
    Please come take a nap.

  17.   rafancp said

ana, anita don't be like that, do you know the samsung duos? take a walk through the google fantasyssssssssstic and cultivate yourself, you will see how you learn a lot of things.

  18.   pumpette said

    Hello,

It's one thing to have two sims and be able to switch from one to the other.
Another thing is to have both of them active at the same time.
    Currently in Spain you cannot.
Dual Samsungs are two phones in one, it is as if we glued two phones with the glue, it is not the same, they have two seats for the sims.
I mean having several numbers on the same card, theoretically you can have up to 10, the system allows it.

Ana, don't be like that either, there are many countries where things are much worse, I assure you.

    regards

  19.   alendriel said

As RafaNcp says, the duos keep the two sims active at the same time, no call forwarding
for example the d780 and d880 allow it

I use a dual card from Movistar, I have 2 numbers (my personal one and the one from work) and it works well.

You RECEIVE calls from both of them, you call only with the one you have active at a given moment, the same 2G connection, and you receive messages only from the one you have active (this is the only inconvenience).
Changing from one active number to another is very easy.

This is great for me, because I receive calls to both numbers, and I always call with the one from the job ;-), as well as the data rate from the job. For me, the best.

I have a Simore with Iphone 3Gs: Putafone and Vomistar. Perfect the first time. I always have active the personal line of vomistar, and the one of the curro (putafone) is the one that pays the detours. All the calls come in and I do not receive messages from work, and if I have to make a call, I simply give Swap number and in about 6 or 7 seconds I already have the other line active. I go from P… mother with her. The ideal would be to have both lines active, but until that arrives, it is undoubtedly a good solution not to carry two pots.
I prefer it to having to pay attention to the battery of two, the agenda of two, which pocket is each one, cables, music, car charger and the other… helmets, etc. In short, an acceptable solution.
That if, until the real dual arrives.
By the way, and I am amused by the comment. If I did not like the place where I was born, grew up and live, I simply go to tp c ... to vote elsewhere. Without raising your voice. Also, how little has this girl traveled ... A shame

Hi Greg, I have to be traveling to London and I was thinking of using my iPhone with the simore (a sim from my movistar contract and another from the UK operator). From what you say, you can navigate in Spain with the vodafone card. Does vodafone UMTS work for you without problems?
    Thanks for the information.

  23.   Greg said

Hello Juan, I have to tell you that to navigate I only use the Movistar line, since it is in which I have contracted a flat rate, but I have to think that with vodafone there should be no problem, at least attributable to the mobile or the SIM, well each one works exactly the same as if you didn't have the Simore on. Another thing will be to talk about the UMTS service of Vodafone or that of Movistar, which sometimes (at least in Malaga) leaves much to be desired. For the rest as I said, no problem so far. I've been wearing it for 2 weeks.

  24.   Juan said

    Thanks Greg.
I have the iPhone 3GS with a Telefonica contract (that is, when I put a Sim that is not Movistar, the Mobile does not work as such -no calls or data). The question I have is whether the Simore tricks the iPhone into believing that the active sim (whether it is Movistar's or not) is a valid Sim. This question arises to me because it could be that you had spent a few euros and had a free iPhone (you would not need this functionality).

Thank you in advance for the information.

Hello everyone, I see that greg that you have the Simone platinium on the iphone, and acquired one and after entering it in the phone he asks me for the pin, then he tells me that if I want to install the program, I accept and enter the settings, change the language to Spanish and I change to sim 2, since then it tells me that it does not have a sim card, and indeed it does not recognize anything, I introduce another sim not the Simone and the iphone works perfectly, something like this has happened to you, greetings.

Hi, I'm a xico from Barcelona. Where can I buy a aki in barcelona a Dual 3G sim card adapter for my Nokia 6124C mobile.

    Thank you

Regarding Greg's comment, it seems that the SIMORE with Iphone is going well, right? I guess it is platinum that is valid for all versions.
I'm going to get an iPhone from Vomistar, which is free for me with the 18-month Internet flat rate and I also want to put the Orange card for the calls.
    My idea is:
Have my orange number active all day and when I want the internet I switch to Vomistar to browse.
    as you see?
(By the way, buying several simore are cheaper, if someone is interested we can buy several)

  28.   Kintius said

Hello everyone, be careful with the simore, it does not recognize the orange cards, I have tried for several weeks to start it and called the simore's and nobody gives a solution, the pepephone works but the orange does not separately if they do not exchange or anything, be careful with that before catching you the money I bought 2 one does not work and the other does the number so watch out guys

    Hello

I used to have an HTC TOUCHE CRUISE, and I live between two countries, the DUAL SIM would seem perfect, I spent € 60 more or less.
The mobile and the companies were according to the SIMORE weeb compatible, even in 3G.

The issue was that when I installed it, I had to deactivate the 3G so that the Spanish card from YOIGO would recognize me.

In addition, it failed more than a shotgun pellets, when the mobile "felt like it" it came out that THERE IS NO SIM, I had to turn off and re-start the mobile. The problem is that it naturally did not warn, so you could spend an entire afternoon with the mobile off.

The phone was going well, since I tried it on others (a Samsung, a NOKIA, and another HTC, all of them compatible according to SIMORE) and it was always the same.

There may be a problem, but the worst was SIMORE's attention to the client, I sent them a lot of emails, and not a reply, that is, they use today the address to send me information about their products, that is, PROPAGANDA.

According to my experience, YOU DID NOT SPEND THE MONEY ON SIMORE, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR PRODUCT THEY GO ON THE TOPIC, you have already paid them.
For me this has a name, a greeting.
Let's see if DUAL phones come out in a more generic way, my wife had a Samsung and great, but it is a phone and I am now looking for something similar to my SAMSUNG GALAXY i9000 in DUAL.
