In the App Store we can find several applications that allow us to connect our device to the Mac or PC and thus be able to use the iPad screen as if it were an external monitor. Of all the applications, one of the ones that offers the best performance is Duet Display, an application is not exactly cheap, it has a price of 19,99 euros although sometimes, as now, its price is reduced by half, 9,99 euros. The new update offers us support for the new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, so that We can use the Apple stylus to draw on the application that is currently showing on the screen.
That is, if we are working with Photoshop on the Mac and we use the iPad as a secondary screen, we can use the Apple Pencil to draw or retouch the image being displayed on the iPad Pro, a fantastic implementation of the use that we can give the Apple Pencil in combination with the Mac.
This new function called Duet Pro, which is found within the application, is available within the application but in subscription form, so if we want to take advantage we are going to have to pay 20 dollars a year, both for old customers and for new users who download the application.
The Duet Pro function is compatible with any Mac running OS X 10.9 or higher as well as PCs with Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10. Obviously, it is necessary to have an iPad Pro to be able to enjoy this option. As I have commented above, this application is currently available for 9,99 euros, which represents a 50% discount compared to its usual price, which is 19,99 euros.
