Dumb Ways to Die 2, a sequel that more than delivers

Second

While is true that Dumb Ways to Die It was a really short game, it was no less true that its touches of humor and the gameplay with progressive difficulty made it a fun challenge for the downtime. It was not a game that aspired to occupy hours of our lives, nor did it want complexity, but it is true that more levels were missing, and luckily with the second edition we have quite a few new levels for our enjoyment.

Minigames

If there was a weak point in the first edition that was the short number of minigames, something that they have taken pains to solve in this second iteration, since they include 28 minigames that will make us squeeze all our abilities but also let out more than a laugh at the funny movements and humorous touches of the dolls.

On this occasion it was wanted keep the spirit who created the first game, which is none other than the prevention of 'silly' deaths on the train tracks, but themes such as sports have also been added. In this way the game is much more varied than its predecessor, although it is true that in the end as soon as you play three or four times you end up knowing all the minigames and the reactions of the characters to the different events.

Choosing

Perhaps the greatest novelty, beyond the new minigames, lies in the main menu that we have to move between the different mini-game stations, which are organized according to their theme and will allow us to play the ones we like the most, being able to avoid as much as possible those that we like the least or that choke us due to their complexity.

There is little to mention about the graphic section, since it remains practically unaltered with respect to the first edition. It is not necessary either, because precisely what the fans of this nice game demanded were new minigames that kept the original spirit and did not modify the graphics or animations of the characters.

Of course the game is still gratuitous, and despite certain in-app purchases, it won't drive us crazy to spend money on beating levels or making the game more bearable. The game is what it is, with its difficulty, without traps or additions, and of course an exception like this is greatly appreciated in the times that run in the App Store.
