A few hours ago, the social network Facebook launched a new version (6.1) of its application for iOS devices in the App Store with several changes, one of them the icon. As you can see from this capture that we have made for this article, the new icon it sported a white border and a grid background.
Someone on Facebook must have gotten out of hand because that icon should never have seen the light between the users of the application. Despite being quite striking, it seems that the social network saves this icon for its development version. Something similar happened with the icon of the Facebook Messenger application, according to what our follower Gerardo told us on social networks.
And, indeed, a few hours after Facebook launched version 6.1 in the App Store, the social network quickly rectified releasing a version 6.1.1 in which only the icon is changed and it returns to the same as always.
You can find version 6.1.1 of Facebook in the App Store of your country.
Do you like the development icon better or the one we have had so far in all versions of Facebook for the iPhone?
