It seems that in recent times, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp are making a race to see who first adds all the functions that have been available for a long time in Telegram, it is clear that they have it as a reference to guide them and to know what the users of a messaging application really need and want.
In recent weeks, Facebook Messenger has added new functions, many of them already available in WhatsApp, but not all. The last function that the messaging platform of the social network has just added is the possibility of share Dropbox files through the app.
Dropbox, which just a few weeks ago announced that it has reached 500 million active users, has partnered with Facebook Messenger, which recently reached 900 million active users, to offer the possibility of being able to cShare files via links through the application, a much faster way than the one commonly used that is usually email.
The first requirement to be able to share Dropbox links through Facebook Messenger is to have the latest version of both applications installed. Second, when we want to share a file, we just have to go from the Facebook Messenger application to the More button and then click on the Dropbox button, in this way the Dropbox application will open within Facebook Messenger and we can select the file we want to share. If we are sharing a video or an image, the messaging application will show us a thumbnail of it.
Mail replaced Fax, instant messaging applications will not completely replace email, but it can make up for some of its deficiencies, especially when it comes to quickly sharing files, photos, videos.
