Facebook Messenger updates allowing group calls

It seems incredible that Facebook Messenger belongs to the same WhatsApp developer group seen the updates that almost every week is getting the update. Last week at the Facebook developer conference, Mark Zuckerberg presented the bots, some of which are already available in the social network's messaging application.

But they also presented a new functionality that allows users of this messaging service share files directly from Dropbox. Perhaps these news are not very useful for a large number of users but there they are, in case we need them. But the thing does not stop there, since from today, the application already allows us to make group calls from the application itself.

Until now we could only make individual calls to other users, but as of today lThe group calling feature is now available on both Android and iOS, so that we will no longer have to resort to other applications such as Skype, to be able to contact several people at the same time.

If we want to start a group call, we just have to go to the group to which we want to make the call and click on the call button. The next window will show us all the users that are part of the group, and in which we will have to select the members of the group with whom we want to contact.

The user who receives the call will see how the image established in the group is shown on his screen, as well as the list of components that are in the call. Like any phone call, we can hang up or pick up the call. When any of the members drops out of the call, just like in Skype, a notification will be heard advising us.
