Facebook starts testing with GIFs in the iOS app

Facebook is testing with some users the ability to create GIF-like animated graphics from their iOS app's camera. It seems that this function is not available to all users of the popular social network but some already have it active.

GIFs are so much better than an emoji or a picture to respond on certain occasions and allows the user to express themselves much better. GIFs are obviously something that has been available on the internet for a long time, but it is now that it seems that all users are beginning to enjoy them on social networks or messaging applications and in part it is due to the applications themselves that are becoming compatible with them .

As we can read in various media, the function is still in tests and that is why not all users have it active. In any case, the important thing about this is that the user will be able to create their own animated GIFs by accessing the camera within Facebook. When we access this we two options will appear: Normal and GIF. Obviously by selecting GIF we will create a short video that can be shared directly on the wall of Facebook, Twitter or even make a Stories.

The fashion of GIFs is becoming more and more widespread and today we can already look for these short and funny videos to share in any messaging application such as Telegram, WhatsApp or most of the social networks. We hope that soon this option to create GIFs will be officially added for all users that many of you will surely take advantage of in the most popular social network in the world to share your creations. On July 13, the application was updated on iOS but it is unknown if the reason was to add this new option in the camera for some users. Do you already have GIF creation active?
