Among the main wishes that we always want to see fulfilled when a new iPhone is launched, is that of a battery with better autonomy. Although iPhones currently enjoy reasonable battery life, it is never enough. This is particularly increased in the case of devices with a 4,7 inch screen, which do not have that extra space that the Plus model does have to expand its capacity.
That is why a significant increase in battery life would be well received by all, since it would imply being less aware of the remaining percentage, offering greater freedom when using our mobile device. As it is, it is not surprising that if a team led by John Goodenough - the father of today's lithium-ion batteries - announces a new type of battery technology, expectations begin to grow.
As reported in Apple Insider, this team based at the University of Texas would have managed to create a new fireproof battery (hello, Galaxy Note 7!), with a longer life cycle and charging speeds higher than the current ones. Basically our dream come true. The best thing about this is that, in addition to all the benefits that this type of battery offers, its manufacture is simpler and more respectful with the environment, something fundamental in a world where electricity is increasingly essential.
Although it seems that the first steps towards the commercialization of these batteries could already be underway, we do not know if there is a real possibility that we see this technology applied in the next iPhone model. For many users, such a big step in the life of their device would undoubtedly mean more than any other novelty that Apple could present.
they said that with the iPhone6, then with the 7 and now with the 8….
at least dreaming is free !!!
Obviously not! Are you not tired of saying every year hundreds of ultra revolutionary things that the new iPhone will have so that it will then be like the previous year?
