!!At last!! Apple just updated iBooks

ibooks-ios7

Since the release of iOS 7, app updates are pouring in. Being an application that comes within the system it did not make sense that it had not been updated when the new iOS was launched. Anyway, Apple just released the update expected by all iBooks users, adapted to the new interface.

The update of this application as standard in the system, is available in a completely free. The wooden shelf has completely disappeared. How could it be otherwise, now the background of the application is a white shelf.

Little by little, skeumorphism is disappearing from iOS 7. Now the interface is flat like the new iOS, very similar to the design of iBooks for OS X and similar to the one recently released by Remote.

Now when you switch from iBooks to the store to browse what's new, there won't be such a drastic change in design as it happened while the application was not adapted to the new interface.

The icon has also been adapted to iOS 7. The open book that previously represented the application, has given way to an open "book", which as you look at it looks like a paper plane and with an orange background.

The reading view has also been adapted. There is no longer a trace of the old aesthetic where we could see the stacked pages. Actions available from within reading view are still in the same location.

Remember that through iBooks we can download books from the Apple store, or add new PDF files. What's more we can create our own category to make our particular classification. For example, if we are fond of photography, we can include all the books that talk about this topic in its collection, to have them more at hand, without having to browse the library.

Horrible! Apple is finished loading the only nice thing that was left ... this app was cool now it seems that we are in a madhouse all white and cold ... by God ...

I think the same. Maybe the skeumorphism in some things will sing a bit, but in general I think it has gone backwards. The new iBooks application seems painful to me compared to its old version.

I like my iOS 7 more than iOS 6, but it is true that in certain applications they have not been able to give it the modern and minimalist touch without making it dull and simple. iBooks is one of them.

I find this white background absolutely boring …… This was apple's worst decision. I am already physically lazy to read in this application

Horrible new "design." The previous one was awesome.
Every day I like less apple.

The new iBooks interface sucks, it's cold, simple and boring, the least it provokes is reading something on this thing !!!, the previous version one could feel that you were really reading a book, the new version lost all this!

With the new version all the books have disappeared. How do I get them back?

Why do you need to change what was already good? You screwed it up. Please go back to the view you had in ios 7
