Fire Emblem Heroes, Nintendo's new game for iOS available on February 2

Fire Emblem Heroes

It seems that Nintendo will deliver on its promise. After the launch of the pseudo-game Miitomo and a Super Mario Run that many of us would ask to have a little more prominence and not just touch the screen to make Mario jump, the Japanese game developer announced officially what Fire Emblem Heroes will hit the App Store and Google Play today 2 February, or what is the same, in just two weeks.

Fire Emblem Heroes is a title that combine a role-playing game with a strategy game and it is part of the Fire Emblem universe that we could see for the first time in the mythical 8-bit console Nintendo or NES in 1990. Users will be able to level up the protagonists while fighting in strategic battles, which, in my opinion, It asks us for more than the previous Nintendo game that made it to the App Store.

Fire Emblem Heroes is coming just in two weeks

According to Nintendo, the game will include new features, as well as a original argument which will focus on two warring kingdoms whose differences are growing. We will have to take the role of the summoners, who will call various characters from Fire Emblem to participate in epic battles.

Each map will be like a board with 8 × 6 squares designed to fit on the screen of our iPhone or Android device. It is in this kind of board where the players will have to participate in tactical combat with multiple allies and enemies.

In order to be able to play properly on a smartphone, Nintendo has modified the controls to make them simpler, such as dragging an ally towards an enemy to attack. We will achieve victory when all the enemies on a map have been eliminated. The Japanese gaming giant says that while the controls are much simpler, fans of the series will find Fire Emblem Heroes as intense as they could hope for.

Like Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes will be a game free with in-app purchases, which means that we can unlock certain content through a more important payment or several micro-payments with which we will buy items that allow us to evolve faster. Hopefully when Fire Emblem Heroes hits the app stores it will do so to receive better reviews than Mario's latest adventure.
