The Mozilla foundation, who is behind the development of the Firefox browser and its different variants, has always been characterized by show a special concern for the privacy of users, always trying to keep it protected as much as possible. To try to protect users interested in browsing completely anonymously, it launched Firefox Focus.
Firefox Focus is a browser that automatically blocks a wide variety of trackers, including any type of advertising. In addition, when we stop using it, it automatically deletes our history, passwords and cookies. But it wants to protect users so much that it seems that it is intended only for fast searches and only a few seconds since until now, it had hardly any customization options.
So that users can make more regular use of this fantastic browser, the guys from Firefox have listened to the demands of users and they have added a series of functions that many users missed, such as the possibility of searching the web we are visiting and the possibility of being able to view a web page in computer format, not for mobile devices.
What's new in version 6.0 of Firefox
- Searches on the website. Thanks to the search in page function we can search for words or text strings on the web page where we are. To do so, we just have to click on the web address and write the text or word we are looking for.
- View desktop web version. Another of the functions that have been added after the last update, we find it in the possibility of requesting that the web page designed for desktop systems be displayed, not the corresponding responsive web for mobile devices.
- The last function, allows us to protect the use of the application through Face ID technology or Touch ID, ideal for when we receive a notification, we answer it and we return the browser again.
