The Mozilla Foundation not only offers us the Firefox browser for iOS (and the rest of the platforms) but also, for mobile devices, it offers the Firefox Focus application, an application intended for all those users who they want to browse privately and quickly.
With the release to version 38, Firefox Focus has renewed its design to be even more simple and intuitive. In addition, it is now possible to pin up to four shortcuts on the home screen, an ideal functionality for all those users who use this browser to always visit the same web pages.
Firefox Focus allows us to navigate much faster thanks to the improved ad unit and trackers system (including social media trackers), so users can get faster upload speeds. In addition, access to the application can be blocked using Touch ID or Face ID.
In the Mozilla blog post where this new update is announced, we can read:
We've added a new look with new colors, a new logo, and a dark theme. We have added a shortcut feature so that users can access the sites they visit the most.
And with privacy in mind, the Tracking Protection Shield icon has been added, accessible from the search bar, so you can quickly turn individual trackers on or off by clicking on the shield icon. In addition, we have added a global counter that shows all the trackers blocked for you.
In the same publication, the guys from Firefox have announced some of the news that will come from the hand of the next version of their browser for iOS, such as password manager, a manager that currently works independently through the application Lockwise.
