Well, after thoroughly messing around with jailbreaking my 1G iPod Touch, I have decided to share with you the firmware that I have created for the occasion. I can't tell you everything that is pre-installed because it is quite a lot, but it comes with almost all the important things (OpenSSH, OpenSSL, libnet, libpcap, typical sources…).
Obviously it also has Cydia and Icy installed, so as soon as you have the iPod restored you can download things in bulk. I hope you find it useful, I do not do it for any other purpose. I'm only going to put a mirror on Megaupload for a matter of time, which I have not been able to spare lately.
You just have to put your iPod in DFU mode, either on Windows or Mac (I've obviously used a Mac), and restore it with alt + restore (Mac) or shift + restore (Win).

Well, I have tried the instalous from my iphone, and it works perfectly without the mobileinstalation ... some applications do not install, but they fail to download. what you can't do is sync them with itunes, then it will detect that they are cracked ipas, if they don't go through itunes no problem, at least for now.

I have installed an application from installous. It works perfect (without mobileinstallation) and I have deactivated the synchronization with itunes from the program. And when syncing .. iTunes does not detect that application, so nothing happens.
I have activated the sync with itunes and tried again. the application is copied to itunes without problem.
But when doing it in reverse, that application is no longer copied to the iphone (it gives an error because it does not have the mobileinstalation).
In summary .. IF IT CAN BE INSTALLED FROM INSTALLOUS WITHOUT THE MOBILEINSTAATION PATCH as long as we have the option to synchronize with itunes deactivated.
