Well, watching the video it came to mind that after the iPhone 2G came the 3G and 3GS, both made of polycarbonate replacing the impeccable aluminum exterior of the original iPhone. Couldn't it be that Apple is planning to do something similar and that the successor to the iPhone 5 is only this 5C with superior hardware?
iPhone 5, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C… .. too many fives. Maybe (and this just to fantasize a bit) we are presented with the iPhone 5C and the iPhone 6 and that would be spectacular as well as unpredictable.
