Flashorama: activate the flash in panoramic photos (Cydia)

flashorama

If your brightness is failing in iOS 6, we have a solution (BrightnessFix for iOS 6), if you want to use your iPhone's LED flash in panoramic photos... we also have it. And in Cydia you can find everything you need to improve, modify and personalize your iPhone.

With flashorama you can enjoy activate the flash light also for panoramic photosWhy is this option disabled by default? We'll never know, the Apple stuff. Is this option very useful? Nope, because panoramic photos do not normally require a flash, the flash is for relatively close photos and panoramas are taken from far away things (usually). But if someone wants or requires this option, they can now activate it, it is clear that the developer has needed it at some time and that is why they have programmed it.

But it is the same as always, if you want to do it you have to go to the jailbreak because Apple layer all the possible options to simplify it as much as possible. Flashorama simply will add a flash button to the upper left corner of the iPhone when using panoramic photos. By the way, for those who do not know, if you press the arrow on the panoramic photo, it allows you to take it in the other direction, a simple tip that many of you do not know.

For those of you who like photography, do you think this option is useful? Have you ever needed a flash in panoramic photos?

You can download it free In Cydia, you will find it in the BigBoss repo. You need to have done the jailbreak on your device.

Well, I installed it and the iPhone 4s started to heat up a lot and the battery went down in an hour, so I uninstalled it and it works again normal

I think that the reason why Apple does not offer this feature is because the flash CHANGES the colors of the photo that is being taken, so that if you take two photos with a flash by moving the angle slightly, you will see that both photos have different colors. different. Now imagine the very strange collage that would be left by joining several photos in a row, all of them with a slightly different tonality. If there is no other way to take a picture than to use the flash, okay, but to make it look good the logical thing is not to use it. And if you are in a bad light environment, what you are trying to do is take a single photograph, not something as complex as a panorama.

Speaking of doing things »strange» with the flash: if you have installed »Torch» (the tweak that allows you to turn on the flash from the lock screen), turn on the led and then upload the camera icon to enter to take a photo : the led will remain on. Well, if you activate the HDR option, you can take an HDR photo with the flash activated (which Apple does not allow either), and in this case the results can be quite interesting 🙂

Which leads me to think that perhaps activating the flash with Torch and then going to make a panorama, the effect will be the same as having the Flashorama this.
