Fortnite achieves a revenue of $ 1,5 million in just 5 days

We have no doubt that it is the game that is sweeping the iOS App Store right now and it is that as the first numbers of the game say, Fortnite has managed to generate some revenue of $ 1,5 million in just 5 days.

This is the beginning of something great and that is that the game is going like a storm for iOS devices after it was officially released. In this sense it must be said that during the first 72 hours from the moment of launch the spectacular figure of one million dollars was reached, then the other half a million came. 

Invitations slow revenue

We are completely sure that this system of invitations to which the guys from Epic Games have signed up, powerfully stopped the increase in income during the first hours after its launch. Not all users have the possibility to play the game right now and this evidently slows down income.

Thank you for signing up for the Fortnite iOS Invitation Event. Invitations will start arriving by email soon. The invitation email will contain a link to download the game from the App Store. If you don't receive your invitation right away, don't worry. We will continue to add players on a regular basis over the next several months. Players who receive invitations from Epic will also get invitation codes to share with friends.

Right off the bat, this reminds me of the spectacular launch of the Pokémon GO game for iOS devices, but with a much lower income since on that occasion the Nintendo game raised more than 4 million dollars in the first five days. In any case, this game does not have the same level of popularity among users and the fact is that many (as is my case) do not dominate the game and obviously we are not going to pay for improvements if we are learning to play. As time goes by we will see how far this entertaining game goes.
