The folders of iOS 9 are fine, but maybe 9 icons can tell us little. If we have many applications in a folder, such as games, finding the application we are looking for can be an impossible task unless we use Spotlight, so having more applications in view can be a good idea. And that's what will allow us FullFolder9, modify our folders to fit us more than 9 applications.
As you can see in the screenshot in the image, in my leisure folder there are 9 applications, but there is still space for another 15 more. What FullFolder9 has done in this configuration is make the icons overlap between them, leaving more room for new icons. When we open a folder, the icons are folded and redisplayed so that we can see them in place when the folder is not in the foreground.
Within the tweak settings we can modify the following:
- Turn off animations.
- Change the background color of the folders to transparent, black and hide them (needs respring). You can also when they are in the foreground, this without respring.
- Change the number of apps within the folders on the home screen to 4 × 3, 4 × 5, 4 × 7 or 4 × 8 (needs respring).
- Change the number of apps when they are in the foreground to 5x5, 5x6, 6x7, 5x8 or 5x9 (need to respring).
- Distance between icons.
What I like least about FullFolder9 is that there are always the corners with the vertices visible. I think the developer should put them round or add the option for it. For everything else, the tweak works quite well and, if you are one of those users who wants to see more applications on each page, you may be interested in installing it.
