A little over a week ago, Capcom released one of the classics of the 80s and 90s, 1942, a game inspired by the Second World War in which we had to shoot down all the enemy planes. But it is not the only classic that the Capcom company had planned to launch on the market, since a few hours ago the mythical game, also from the 80s and 90s, Ghosts and Goblins is now also available for download from the App Store. But if you use an Android device, you are also in luck, since as it happened with the 1942, it is also available in the Google Play Store.
If you have arrived here it is likely that you are one of the oldest in the place and the most likely thing is that you have spent a good handful of coins of 25 pesetas in the arcades that allowed us to enjoy this platform game, which as my colleague Jordi says, marked an era just like Street Fighter, Tekken, OutRun, Golden Ax and others.
In Ghosts and Goblins we put ourselves in the shoes of Sir Arthur a knight who will have to fight demons, skeletons and zombies in order to rescue his princess. Although it is true that the game offers us practically the same graphics as in the past, the controls adapted to mobile devices can be improved, since they are not well located and it makes it a bit difficult to enjoy this game.
As you can see in the image above, the movement and jump controls, are located in the middle of the screen and the trigger at the bottom. But despite that, we quickly get to the game and can go back to enjoying that time when we hardly had any worries.
Ghosts and Goblins is available for a limited time at half price, for 0,99 euros, to promote its launch, a price that will rise to 1,99 euros in a few days, when the company considers that the launch promotion has ended.
