Gmail for iPadOS now supports split screen

Gmail Split Screen

Gmail is one of the most used email clients in the world, and for the moment, it looks to continue to be so for the next few years, due to the large number of services it offers us through the same account and I'm not just talking about email accounts and YouTube.

In recent years, Apple has been working to improve multitasking on the iPad, improving the Split View function, a function that allows us to use two applications on the same screen, a function that, finally, is already compatible with the Apple iPad.

Google has finally bothered to add iPad support for the Split View feature, a feature that came from the hand of iOS 9 in 2015, a feature that was introduced three weeks ago with the latest app update, but was officially announced today via Google's blog.

When using an iPad, you can now multitask with Gmail and other iOS apps. You can use Gmail and Google Calendar at the same time with Split View to check your schedule before replying to an email to confirm a meeting time. Or, you can easily drag and drop images from Google Photos to email without leaving Gmail.

As I mentioned above, the last update of the Gmail application was released 3 weeks ago and is number 6.0.200531, this novelty is not mentioned at any time, one of the most demanded functions by Gmail users on the iPad.
