A few hours ago I was talking about one of the best (but at the same time worst) updates that the Facebook application has had in the App Store. Many users updated the application to the latest version and could not enter the app itself therefore, Facebook took action on the matter and it updated the application again, solving the error that made users unable to access their news feed or any other section of the social network application.

Now it's time to talk about Google Drive, the cloud (cloud storage system) from Google that offers us 5 GB free space. In addition, if we want more space to store files we can pay a monthly subscription, which would expand the storage space. The Google Drive app has just been updated for iOS devices on the App Store with many new features regarding accounts: multiple accounts and the new option to log into all Google apps at once. As I was saying, the storage cloud: Google Drive; it was updated in the iDevices through a new version in the App Store with many new features. Google is not very used to launching updates but when it launches new versions of its applications there are many news that appear. This time it is Google Drive that is updated to the version 2.1.0:

  • Multiple accounts: From now on, we can use multiple accounts on Google Drive. Let's imagine that we have several accounts: work, classes, family… we can log in with all of them and switch between them by clicking on a couple of places.
  • Single sign-on: I find this new cloud feature quite good for users who use a lot of accounts. If we want to use an account in all the Google applications installed on our iDevice, just log in to Google Drive and we will log in with the same ID in applications such as YouTube, Google+ or Maps ...
  • File Printing: The ability to print Google Drive files using Air Print or Google Cloud Print has been added.
  • IOS 7 compatibility
