Google Maps allows us to remember where we have parked

Google maps icon

Again the guys from Google guys have got down to work and have released a new update for their Google Maps application. This last function allows us to remember the position in which we have parked, a minor update but that can be a real lifesaver for more than one, especially if we do not want to go around the block looking for our car. This new function that was tested a few weeks ago on Android, also adds a new function that can also be very useful, since allows us to establish until what time we have paid for parking, the happy blue, green hour or whatever it is called in the city where you live.

Unlike the operation of Apple Maps, which is linked to CarPlay or the bluetooth connection of our vehicle, Google Maps also allows us to manually establish the area in which we have parked, for this we just have to click on the blue point that shows our indication. Once we have established it, a P. will appear at the location where we have parked.

In addition, Google Maps also allows us to add notes to the area where we have parked, ideal for when we do it in some open public parking that shows us drawings or numbers that help us identify the location of our parking. Automatically the application will inform us 15 minutes before the end of the parking meter time.

Every time we enter a new address, la previous will be deleted automatically, although it is very likely that the history of Google Maps locations will show each and every one of the locations where we have parked the vehicle, so it will be very easy to know at all times the places where we have parked our vehicle at all times.

I will try it because whenever I travel I park and well I will remember it is the street xxxx but half an hour later I do not know where it is.

You can ask Siri to remember where you have parked and add a marker with a car icon, then you just have to ask it to tell you how to get to your car, greetings
