Despite the fact that Apple has put the batteries in recent years improving the native Maps application, as expected, Google has not lagged behind and has continued to improve, even more if possible, the Google Maps service, so that in the currently there is very little information that may come to mind and that is not available through the Google service.
The guys from Google have re-launched a new update of Google Maps for iOS, in which not only has the way in which we can access the information it offers us has been improved, but also has been slightly improved the design of the same, including the colors, so that it is easier to identify the elements that it shows us.
The last update of Google Maps, carries the number 4.42 and offers us the following news:
- Redesign of the map with a new style and colors, similar to the previous ones, with which we will not have any problem when it comes to identifying the elements that are displayed on the screen, either while navigating or while consulting a street.
- The integration of Local Guides is still very present and thanks to this update, we can see the impact that our reviews are having among users who visit the places or establishments that we have previously rated.
- Through the Google Departures widger, available in the Notification Center, we can filter the information on trains and buses, ideal for when we want to use Google Maps to obtain this type of information.
