As we see in the top animation provided by Google, using this new feature of Google Maps will be very simple. To share our location with our friends or family, all you have to do is open the side menu or tap on the blue point on the map (which indicates where we are at that moment) to bring up the new option to share location. Once this new option is opened, then the user will be able to select who to share with and how long you want that person or people to have access to your location.
Users can share their location with anyone they have stored in their contacts, or generate a link that can be sent through another social application.
From the other end, when the chosen people click on the link received, they will be able to see the user's specific location on Google Maps, while this user who shares their location sees an icon on the compass on your own map to inform you that you are being watched.
Also, even if you have set a time limit to share your location, the user can stop at any time.
