This service, which has a monthly cost of $ 9,99 per month, allows us to access all YouTube content without any type of ad, download playlists to play offline in addition to being able to use the streaming music service from Google. Of all the applications or services that Apple offers in its application store, those of Cupertino always take 30% (although this amount could be reduced as we published a few weeks ago in iPhone Actiality). This 30% comes from the amount that we pay for the application or the service, which reduces the income of the developers. Hence Spotify will offer a subscription for 6,99 euros per month after the departure of Apple Music, for all those users who made the subscription from the website directly, without going through the App Store.
On this occasion, Google does not want to lose any type of income for this service, so all users who contract the service through the application for iOS, will have to pay $ 12,99 instead of the $ 9,99 the service actually costs. This increase is to compensate for the 30% commission that Apple collects for each new user.
