Google Photos now supports drag and drop

Practically since the launch of Google Forums I have always been a staunch advocate for Google's cloud storage service, a completely free service that initially allowed us to store all our photos in their original resolution as long as they did not exceed 16 mpx.

But as time has passed the platform decided to modify that pointFor some users, it is very important, converting all the photographs to a smaller size in order to save space on their servers, since the space it occupies is not subtracted from what we have available, unless we want to save the original image.

This change implies that the image stored in Google Photos it will not have the same quality as the one we store on our device. Three pictures of the same thing happens with videos. These changes forced me to stop recommending Google Photos and switch to the iCloud storage service, which is only 0,99 euros per month, we have 50 GB of storage and 200 GB for 2,99 euros per month.

As a consolation, we see that at least Google keeps updating this service despite having changed the policy with which it came to market without publicly announcing it. The latest update of the Google Photos application offers us compatibility with one of the functions that iOS 11 that users have liked so much. I'm talking about drag and drop

Thanks to this new function, and the split screen, we can drag images, in this case specifically, to add them to text documents, emails, messaging platforms ... But this function goes much further, since through compatible applications we can move documents between applications or directories quickly and easily without having to resort to the veteran cut and paste.

Google Photos is available for download for free through the link that I leave below. The only requirement to use it is to have a Gmail account.

It seems to me that this feature was quite necessary for Google Photos.
