Google Photos improves backup upload speed

One of the best, if not the best free photo manager that we can find in the App Store, Google Photos, has just been updated adding a new function that will delight regular users of this application. Google Photos has become the best alternative to iCloud, in addition to being free, to be able to store each and every one of the photos and videos that we take with our device, as long as the photos exceed 16 mpx (with the iPhone not there is a problem) and that the videos are not in 4k quality (it is automatically converted to 1080 if we do not want them to use our storage space).

After a day in which you have had to use your iPhone to take a large number of photographs, in addition to recording the odd video, you put your iPhone to charge so that by the way, using the Wi-Fi connection, all the images and videos that we have made. This process, depending on the number of photos and videos, it can be quite slow, at least so far.

Google just updated the app improving the ascent system thanks to the parallel ascent, which allows you to upload several files together instead of going one by one as before. But also, the guys at Google have just improved the operation of the location where the photographs have been taken. After this update, when clicking on the location of a photo, the Google Maps application will automatically open to show the exact place where it was taken.

Google Photos is available for download for free through the App Store and allows us to store a copy of our entire reel for free without discounting the space that we have contracted.
