At this point I think that nobody has any doubt about the possibilities offered by the Google Photos service of the guys from Mountain View, a service that every so often is offering us new functions, each of them more interesting to try to adapt to the tastes and preferences of the users who make use of it. Google Photos allows us automatically save a copy of all photos and videos (other than 4k quality) that we do with our iPhone completely free and unlimited. Google has again updated its application adding two new functions.
The new version of Google Photos allows us to automatically create GIFs from the videos that we upload to our account in this service. Google's technology does not convert the entire video into a GIF, but rather capture the most interesting moment of the video to create a GIF file that we can later share via email or through the different messaging applications that we have installed on our terminal.
In addition, Google Photos activates facial recognition for the oldest photos and compares them with the most recent ones to create highlights of each month, a feature similar to the Memories feature in the Photos app. And since there are not two without three, Google also detects the images that have been taken side by side and offers us the possibility of rotating them independently or jointly, which allows us to have to do it one by one directly on our iPhone.
Google Photos is available for download completely free of charge through the App Store. For many users it has become the ideal application for always have a copy of all photos and videos that we do to be able to consult them from any other device or computer.
