Google Photos is currently the best service to store our photos without limit and for free, as long as when they do not exceed 16 Mpx and are not videos in 4k quality. But this application not only allows us to store our photographs to be able to consult them from any device, but also allows us to perform various functions, increasingly, so that this service is not a mere storage application. With Google Photos we can create albums to share them, edit photos, free up space on our device once the images have been uploaded to our Google account ...

Last June Google launched a new application called Motion Stills, which allows us to convert our Live photos to GIF format for be able to share it through social networks or messaging applications compatible with this format. After the last update of Google Photos this function is now available without us having to use Motion Stills.

Thanks to this application we will be able to share with any device all the "live" photographs that we take with our iPhone 6s or iPhone 7 transforming them to GIF format. Google is not the only company that has shown interest in this technology, since the social network Facebook has also been compatible with this type of moving photography for several months.

Another of the new functions allows us sort all albums chronologically that we create to organize our photo library in Google, an ideal option to avoid having to search by names, if we know the approximate date in which we created the album.

    I backup the photos with google photos (I free up space and therefore they are deleted from the iphone), the problem is that there are applications to make collage with the photos, which only allows you to select the photos from the roll, (from photos from the iphone only), How do I download a photo from google photos to my device again?
    the collage of google photos does not allow me to put text on it 🙁 that's why I use an alternative one.
