Currently the Google Translate app allows us to translate between more than 103 written languagesIn addition, it also allows us to translate without the need for an internet connection between 52 languages. The instant camera translation allows us to use our iPhone camera to translate the text that our camera recognizes in 29 different languages. But it also allows us to translate direct conversations of spoken text in two directions in up to 32 languages. As if that were not enough, we can also write by hand the text that we want to translate between 93 languages.
Google just update the translation app again, reaching version 5.1.0 with the following news:
- Various usability improvements and bug fixes.
- Offline translation in 52 languages.
- Instant in-camera translation from English to Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
- In addition, 13 new languages have also been added.
