Google to release gesture-based keyboard for iOS

iOS 8 keyboards

A few weeks ago we informed you of Microsoft's intentions of llaunch a curved keyboard, which would be placed in one of the corners of the screen (depending on whether we are right-handed or left-handed) and that would allow us to write with one hand on large screens. A very good idea from the guys at Redmond.

Now it is Google who also wants to launch a new keyboard for iOS, but this time it will be a normal keyboard without any special shape but it will be based on gestures and which, according to what they say, will allow us to write from a much faster one than the current one.

A couple of weeks ago, Google removed support for third-party keyboards from several of its apps like Chrome, since they did not stop causing problems in the operation of the application. The first solution was to remove the stand and the second to create a new keyboard that is compatible.

This new gesture-based keyboard just like famous Swype, will allow us to write words by sliding our fingers. But it will also allow us to search for images and GIFs, to liven up our conversations, as long as the application allows it. What is most surprising is that Google focuses solely on releasing this new keyboard exclusively for iOS and not for both platforms.

Since the arrival of third-party keyboards to iOS, I have tried almost every keyboard that has appeared in the App Store and in the end I have stayed with the native one. Neither keyboard offers me an experience that allows me to write quickly and in a simpler way on large screens, a current trend of manufacturers, if we do not take into account the new iPhone SE, where this type of keyboard with gestures is ideal for typing with one hand.

Hi, you say you've tried almost all of them, I don't know if you've tried it but I recommend it 100%. It seems to me a keyboard of the future, especially in the interface and functions, not to mention customization! It is something that if you screw it thoroughly every time it impresses you more! This keyboard is nintype
