Google has shown that it wants to reach the more devices the better. For that reason he bought Android in 2005, an operating system that 5 years later he would launch on smartphones and, more recently, on watches, televisions, cars and all kinds of electronic devices. But the best demonstration that Google is important to reach all corners of the planet is the good treatment of the company of the great search engine to iOS users. Sometimes it even launches its services on iOS before its own operating system.
The next move in the "mime" that Google provides iOS users has to do with the searches we perform in its Google Search application from an iOS device. In the next weeks, Searches made from your official application will show relevant application information connected to a “user search pipeline”. This is another way of saying that we can discover applications from Google searches. At first it seems like a good idea, but, to be sure, we will have to wait to see if this new function is really useful or, on the contrary, it shows us the information annoying more than helping.
From the moment this function is launched, when we perform a search from an iPhone, iPod or iPad, They will begin to show us applications that are related to our preferences and, in addition, it will allow us to download them.
According to the project manager, Jason Tidus, Only the information related to our searches can be displayed, since Google Search cannot know which applications we have installed on our smartphones.. Regardless, Tidus says that Google is in talks with several companies to make the experience perfect.
This new Google Search feature will begin to arrive in the coming weeks, but only for users who use their applications, both Google Search and the Google Chrome browser for iOS, although it is not ruled out that they will appear in other applications in the future.
