gpSPhone, a GBA emulator for iPhone

gpSPhone

For a couple of days, the first beta of gpSPhone, a Game Boy Advance console emulator for the iPhone. Its developer is ZodTTD and has already worked on other emulators for Apple devices.

gpSPhone stands out for being free and allow downloading ROMS from the emulator itselfThis way we avoid having to search the network and transfer them to the iOS device through iFile or an FTP program. As is usual, the buttons of the console appear virtually on the iPhone screen and it depends on our expertise whether we play better or worse with these types of controls.

As we have already said, gpSPhone is in beta and ZodTTD admits that there is still a lot of work ahead. In later betas, we will try to improve the position of the buttons on the screen with the possibility of adding skins, including support for the WiiMote, correcting bugs and improving the general performance when emulating games on the Nintendo console.

If you are interested in trying gpSPhone, you can find it in Cydia after adding the following repository:

http://cydiabetas.zodttd.com/

All updates released from gpSPhone will be hosted there. PWe may have emulators for the Nintendo 64 and PSX in the future coming from the same developer, we will have to be vigilant.

how to download? But if you are the lovers of the legal and the "no to piracy" this would not even have to be published because the ROMs are being downloaded from the internet and they are not paying the developers (obviously within their theory that they buy even the music that they put to their iphones)

ZodTTD emulators have been available for a long time, yes, but the author had been absent for a long time, leaving his emulators outdated and not very functional (More for the new iDevices that were coming out), that is why he opened that beta repo where will be presenting the new versions.
