A few months ago, Microsoft announced that it intended to allow users to make multiple video calls through our iPhone or iPad. Last January, Microsoft announced that this new feature would be available within weeks. Well, starting today, andWe can make video calls with up to 25 members from our iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
Most likely, you still don't have the option available, since Microsoft started yesterday enable this group calling feature in both the United States and Europe, but until the end of next week it will not be available to all users. Maybe you are one of the lucky ones, if you make use of it.
The operation of the application is very similar to that of Google Hangouts. When a person is speaking in the group, if there are more than two, this person is placed in the center of the screen with a larger size to highlight it from the other members of the conversation. From Microsoft sure that we can transmit video at 1080p, as long as the front camera of our device allows it, although as always everything will depend on the connection quality of all those involved in the video call.
About some months ago, Skype offers us the possibility of making audio and video calls through the browser without having to install the application on our computer. A very interesting option that allows almost anyone to use the service sporadically without having to install the application that is going to be used very little.
Of a time to this part, Skype call quality has improved dramatically and it has become an indispensable tool when making calls abroad as if we were making them directly from our mobile phone.
