Apple Maps Lane Guided Access Now Available New Zealand, Belgium, Sweden and The Netherlands

The launch of iOS 11, supposed, as usual, new functions and features in some of the services and applications that Apple offers us. Apple Maps, without going any further, introduced a new feature: lane guidance, a function that tells you which lane we should go when driving.

This function arrived in Canada, France, Australia, Germany and the United Kingdom in November of last year. Now it is the turn of 4 new countries: New Zealand, Belgium, Sweden and the Netherlands, so that the lane guidance function of Apple Maps is available in 10 countries.

The countries that can already use the lane guidance function are: Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. Thanks to the Apple Maps lane guide, when we use navigation, a set of directional arrows appears at the top of the screen, indicating at all times in which lane we must position ourselves to exit a highway, make a turn, make a roundabout ...

This lane guide shows us the number of roads that are on the road we are traveling on, highlighting at all times the most suitable lane to circulate while we reach our destination. This function is not only available on the iPhone, but it is also compatible with the iPad and of course, with CarPlay.

This function is ideal for those who visit large metropolitan areas where we find a large number of lanes, which take us to different destinations, so it is an excellent assistant when navigating, especially if the knowledge we have of that area is limited, because we have never previously passed through that area. In Spain and Mexico, for the moment we have no choice but to keep waiting.
