A hacker shows a video jailbreak for iOS 9.2.1

Since the last jailbreak compatible with iOS 9 it has been a long timeIf we do not take into account the jailbreak for iOS 9.1 that came out when Apple no longer signed that version in addition to being available only for all 64-bit devices, so this jailbreak is only compatible from iPhone 5s.

Luca Tadesco, the Italian developer seems to be the only one capable of jailbreaking all versions of iOS that Apple is launching. Luca seems to be the only one who gets upset or the only one who really knows how to do it, since otherwise the Chinese from Pangu and TaiG would have already launched it, leaving aside the speculations that they always make and that never get anywhere.

This time the hacker Min Zheng, also known as @SparkZheng has published a video on YouTube in which he demonstrates how he has been able to jailbreak iOS 9.2.1  called Flying JB. But Zheng has not been the only one who has made it possible, as he has also collaborated with Cererdlong and Eakerqiu. As we can read in Zheng's blog, this Fying JB is based on inpuTbag (inspired by the character from the television series Prison Break) that at 15 years old has found the vulnerability of the core overflow.

Apple has fixed this vulnerability in iOS 9.3.2 so this jailbreak will not work on this version of iOS as confirmed by Zheng who claims that this vulnerability was too powerful to be able to exploit the iOS kernel prior to iOS 9.3.2. However the jailbreak is much more difficult in iOS 9.3 and iOS 9.3.1 due to the new derechos that added the Cupertino-based firm. But unlike the iOS 9.1 jailbreak that only worked for 64-bit devices, this jailbreak only works on 32-bit devices, so it will only work on the iPhone 5, 5c or lower if it ever sees the light of day.
