This week's app on the App Store is Halftone 2, an application that will allow us to create comic pages from photos that we choose. At the end of the edition, we can save the images (or share them in another way) in various options, but I think that the best one is a printing simulation, in which we see our images with dots that almost make us think that we are really before some kind of magazine.
As soon as we install the application, we will see a tutorial with practically everything we have to do to create our comics. In case we had doubts, the first time we are editing a page, we will also see pop-up windows explaining what each option is for, something that has bothered me personally (I like to learn by myself) but, well, it is only the first time.
We have many kinds of bullet distribution and it even offers us the possibility to download layout, but it is another application that has a price of € 1.99. In addition, we also have an integrated purchase if we want to use other vignette layouts in landscape format, which adds up to another € 1.99. Anyway, I think that with what comes by default we will have more than enough. A vertical comic is always better than landscape, right?
When we are going to export the sheet to share (or save) we have the option to configure the type of point we want or, on the other hand, the possibility to export the image with the effect in 3D which is achieved by blurring the blue and red colors and in which it is necessary to wear glasses with blue and red plastics to appreciate the effect. The truth is that it is a curious application that is worth trying.
Halftone 2 is an application that requires iOS 8.0 or later, it is compatible with iPhone and iPad. and is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. I leave you with some friends.
