Over the years, Google's messaging application, Hangouts, has become an alternative to be taken into account by many users, due to the versatility it offers us when making calls or video calls, in addition to being available for any platform. The guys at Google usually take longer than necessary, sometimes, to update their applications, either to add compatibility with new functions or to make them compatible with new screen formats, as is the case with the iPhone X. Google has just finished to launch a new update of the iOS application in which it finally offers support for the new screen size of the iPhone X.
For a couple of weeks, Google has begun to adapt all the applications that it offers us in the iOS ecosystem to be compatible with the iPhone X, but it is not the only update that their applications have received, but it seems that they have been waiting for the launch of the new iPhone to take advantage of and add new functions that iOS 11 has brought us by the hand in its version for iPad, where the drag and drop function stands out, a function that allows us to drag texts, images, links or documents from one app to others by dragging them from one to another.
It is especially striking that none of the Google applications have released a night mode, a way that many developers have adopted with the launch of the iPhone X LED screen, a technology that only the LEDs that show us a color other than black, in this way we achieve a battery consumption from the application that is lower than what we can offer the classic LCD screens, where the entire panel is turned on even if only to show a white point on the screen
