Harbor allows you to have a dock like macOS on iOS

Harbor

From the first version of iOS, which until version 3.0 - if I remember correctly - was called iPhone OS, the Apple mobile operating system dock has remained practically the same, with only 4 icons or less that we can access from anywhere Springboard screen. For that reason, there are not a few users who look for a tweak in Cydia that allows them to provide their dock with more functions. One of these tweaks can be Harbor.

Harbor is not a new tweak. Already long time which is available in Cydia, but the latest version has included support for iOS 10Therefore, users who have jailbroken their iPhone or iPad with Yalu Jailbreak, Luca Todesco's tool, will now be able to add as many applications as they want to the iOS 10 dock and enjoy animations that, of course, are not available in the default iOS dock.

Harbor is now compatible with iOS 10

All the Dock applications get smaller as we add more apps. As in macOS, we can touch on the dock and slide our finger to scroll through the applications, at which point we will see an animation like the one that has been available in macOS for many years (as long as we have it activated). As soon as we release the finger, the application that we had selected will open. Also like in macOS, applications open in the background will show a dot at the bottom to indicate that they are active, while those that receive a notification will jump from the bottom.

Harbor is available in the BigBoss repository for a price of $ 0.99. Personally, I do not think it is an excessive price if we consider that it can replace other tweaks such as Infinidock and add other interesting functions like the ones you can see in the video. How about Harbor?

The answer for me is not simple. I would have recommended you update to iOS 9.2 and do the latest untethered jailbreak that exists. As of iOS 9.3, what exists are semitethered jailbreaks and they don't give me a good impression. The questions would be the following:

1- Do you want to have the latest iOS features? Update and use Yalu.
2- Do you prefer a more reliable jailbreak? I would stay on iOS 8, but keeping in mind that you will lose the latest iOS features.

According to Saurik, Yalu is already stable and this has been demonstrated by activating Cydia purchases from iOS 10, but the jailbreak is semitethered and may stop working after 7 days, although I know they are working to fix the licensing problem. The decision must already be of each one.

      A greeting.
