Nokia's mapping service, HERE Maps, was one of the few things Microsoft didn't want to buy when it got a large chunk of Nokia. Since then the application has been updated receiving small news, but in this latest update, the Mercedes, BMW and Audi consortium, current owners, have decided to update the name of the application by replacing the word Maps with WeGo, to try not to disengage completely from the work Nokia had done so far.
This latest update offers us a new user interface in addition to offering us a new way of moving around both the city and by road. One of the main novelties is the Car Sharing function, which allows us to check the cost of a shared ride through the different agreements reached with BlaBlaCar and Car2Go. But it is also possible to know at any time the price of taxi rides and public transport tickets.
