Spotify announced in February of last year its high fidelity (HiFi) program that would see the light of day at the end of 2021. However, that has not happened and users are on the warpath. In fact, Spotify has announced that the release is being postponed indefinitely.
High fidelity comes to streaming services

In this way, it faced large companies that had in mind to launch a similar system. The fight was to offer the highest audio quality on each and every compatible device.
Spotify's roadmap was to launch the add-on at the end of 2021. And in fact, it is an add-on because they wanted to make it an 'extra' service apart from the Premium subscription. In other words, to be able to opt for high-fidelity sound, it was necessary to have Premium and purchase the extra Spotify HiFi service.
Almost a year later, the service has not arrived and does not look like it will arrive in the coming months. In fact, in the support forums of the company there are many users who have grown tired and constantly ask about it. In recent days they have already announced from Spotify that its release has been postponed indefinitely and there is no official release date.
We know HiFi quality audio is important to you. We feel the same way and are excited to offer a Spotify HiFi experience to Premium users in the future. But we still don't have details of dates to share.
