How much would you pay for Super Mario Run? Nintendo wants to know

Super Mario Run

It has been the game of the year, with permission from Pokémon GO, Super Mario Run It was probably the most anticipated game in the history of mobile devices after being presented at the last Keynote presentation of the new iPhone 7 in September. And it is that the nice character of Nintendo has been the companion of many of us in our beginnings in the world of video games, all Nintendo video game consoles have been to blame for all of us waiting with great interest for the Super Mario Run.

Of course, given so much expectation it is quite easy for us to become disillusioned quickly, and we have to bear in mind that we do not have in our hands a Game Boy or anything similar, the new Super Mario Run adapts to the screens of the iPhone that changes the gameplay to become a "runner". If we add to that that in order to play more than one world we have to pay, turn off and let's go. Yes, there is a problem with the philosophy of paying for games or applications, the same problem that there was with film and music, and from what seems we are recovering. Nintendo has noticed and is sending a survey asking about the price we would pay for future versions.

As you can see in the previous image, Nintendo asks us a fairly clear question: How much is the most you would pay for the full version of Super Mario Run? A question that is within a poll that Nintendo is sending some users who have linked Super Mario Run with the My Nintendo account. The question comes to make a survey of all those users complaining about having to pay € 10 for the full game, yes, we will not have to pay again as in many other games.

And not only about the price, as you can see, We are also asked about our interest in a new edition of Super Mario Run, And is that did not like the gameplay either, and obviously this is key for users to continue to be interested in future versions.

I personally believe that the issue of price is a matter of philosophy of freeIt is quite common to think that applications and digital games have to be free, nobody pays attention to the costs involved in their development. Yes, you can always say that Nintendo has enough income and that big companies take all the money, but it is true that These companies hire people who make a living from this and therefore we should not be alarmed by paying € 10 for a game. Nobody forces us, so after trying the first levels you can decide if it is worth continuing to play Super Mario Run.

I prefer to pay the full app even if it is 9 euros, and not the scam of the free to play stamp that you know 4,99, 9,99, 49,99 and 99,99 euros to keep moving forward. are we crazy or what, they would have to be what you pay for and forever all unlocked. I bought it and I don't regret it. I know I have it complete and I don't have to spend more. also all crying that is worth 9 euros and they have in their hands a mobile that is worth 80 times more, is it that we are stupid or what?

When it is not sold and within a week they lower it to € 4,99, the one who has a stupid face is the one who a few days before has paid it for € 9 …… ..

Apart from the philosophy of free, which in long-awaited games could be an exception, with this game I find two problems. The first, that the price is low compared to other platforms, but expensive if we talk about mobile. That causes that, when seeing the price, it seems excessive to us. And the other problem is the mania of adapting all games to the same mechanics on mobile phones. Precisely the touch screens of mobile phones should allow you to have more controls, not less. Runners seem to me to be games that require a lot of practice to play well, too much for a device that we may only use in little spare time. They generate some stress and limit freedom of movement. This, for a Super Mario, is a shit, since it was not unusual to go back because we had lost a coin, or to stop until the flower has been hidden. Not to mention testing all the pipes and corners, just in case. With this version all that is lost.

Something similar happens to me with simulation games. Simcity Buildit, or the defunct Theme Park, changed their philosophy by adapting it to mobile phones, making everything, absolutely everything, requires tapping on the balloons that appear on the screen. Now, taxes or tickets are not charged automatically, but lots of balloons appear on the entire screen that we must press. In the end, it seems that the game is more about this than anything else.

I honestly don't like it, it loses the Mario philosophy, (just run and hit the honeycomb to make it jump) I play Mario from the beginning, a lot of graphics but nothing he has given himself to on his console platforms. and I do not pay € 1 for it, they will have spent hours for development but I do not like it and even less to pay to continue playing, is my opinion.

Well, for me it could be worth $ 50 and it will pay. As long as his way of playing it was telling. This running and running is not funny at all. The truth would not play it even for free.

I went crazy when I realized that I had to pay for it ... I would pay exactly € 0 for it. Are we stupid? He is one more runner, like the 8000 there are. Each one with their differences. Only this one is named after Mario. Point. They could have put it for free with micropayments to get benefits. What is the problem with that?
