How to activate other sports that do not appear on the Apple Watch

One of the functions that we have available in the Apple Watch is to be able to perform physical activity and monitor it to see the calories burned, the steps and others. But there are a lot of physical activities or sports that do not appear directly on the clock when we are going to train in the Training section, that is why we are going to see how choose from 61 sports that can be added to Workouts.

This means that you do not need to leave the "Other" option for your dance, bowling, athletics, boxing and other training, we can have our training marked with your name thanks to this option that They offer all Apple Watch models, from Series 0 to the latest Apple Watch Series 4.

The first thing is to do the training 'Other' and with the objective 'Free'

This is the step that we have to choose to be able to archive our training whatever the sport we are going to do. For it as always we open the app of the Apple Watch Train, we start with a new training of the type 'Other' and with objective 'Free' and we carry out the activity.

Now when we have finished our training is when before pressing «Ok» so that it is registered as «Other» we have to change the name to another type of training, the one we have carried out. For this we will click on «Name» and we will choose from the 61 sports available and then we can click on «Ok» to store our activity. In the event that our sport does not appear (something that can happen but is strange) it will be necessary to leave it as "Other" yes or yes.

This is the list with all the training we can add on our Apple Watch:

  • martial arts
