And it is sure that many of you are at times more aware of the notifications that reach the Apple Watch than the training itself. To avoid this we can use the option to deactivate the reception of notifications on the watch automatically when we start a workout.
It seems like a complicated option to carry out but it is precisely the opposite. In addition, this possibility of automatically deactivating notifications helps us to train more concentrated and we have no need to activate or deactivate manually the entry of notifications every time we start training.
How to automatically activate the "do not disturb" option
This, as we say, is a simple and quick process to carry out. Once we have it activated the first time it will no longer be necessary to activate it again and therefore when we start a workout with the Apple Watch the notifications will be silenced. We can say that it is an interesting way to focus all our efforts on training and leave the rest aside. These are the steps we have to follow to automatically activate the "do not disturb" option.
- The first thing we need to access the Watch app on the iPhone
- Once inside we go to General and then click on Do not bother
- Now we activate the option "Do not disturb while I train" and ready
As simple as that. Every time we start a workout with the Apple Watch will be activated automatically the option of Do not disturb and the best of all is that once we finish the training the option will return to its usual state also deactivating automatically. This is a good way to focus fully on training, although it is true that sometimes we need to receive notifications while we exercise and in these cases we have to deactivate the function following the previous steps from the Watch app on the iPhone.
