As many of you already know, there is just over a month left until the official arrival of iOS 9 and one of the new features it will bring is an application with which we can read news. Apple News has a media search system, but practically all of them are in English, which is not useful for most of us readers. Actualidad iPhone. There are many users slightly worried about not having content available in our language, but one of the best functions of Apple News is that it will allow us to add practically any blog and news portal from Safari.
It is not yet known if Apple News will be available for countries other than the United States at the same time that iOS 9 is released, so you will have to do a little trick to be able to access the application and thus be able to save our favorite media from it. It is a simple procedure and it does not change practically anything in the system. I have done it since the first beta of iOS 9 and I have not noticed anything at all.
How to Access Apple News Outside the United States
Since Apple News is not available outside of the US at this time, we will have to change our region. To do this, we will do the following:
- We go to Settings / General / Language and region / REGIONAL FORMATS / Region and we choose the United States.
- We go back and in Date and time we activate the 24 hour clock if we wish (the time format changes when we change territory to the US).
- If we don't see the application on the Springboard, we turn off and on again the iPhone / iPod or iPad.
How to add Spanish media to Apple News
- We access the web that we want to add to Apple News.
- We played on share (
).
- We look for the icon of the news app and we play on it. If it is not added, we first try putting the desktop version of the web (in my case, it is next to the one to add to News).
- Now we open Apple News and verify that the medium has been added.
As you can see, most of the media that we will add will not have any images, at least until it is fully compatible with all media or we send the request to Apple to include us in Apple News. Anyway, I have added all the technology media that interest me, except one. It is only a matter of time before you can add that medium as well.
Pablo, if we do that, how is it configured for the US, will the App Store and others connect to the US? Or does it have anything to do with it ...?

Hello Rafael. It doesn't change anything or you won't notice anything. The App Store, iTunes, iCloud and all that are configured with your Apple ID and work depending on where you have it created, in this case Spain. I think the zone also configures English for you along with Spanish and adds the keyboard, but now I'm not sure about that (if you try it, you confirm it. The language will appear in the auto-corrector when you hit the world ball, together to Spanish and emoji. Just remove the English keyboard). It's like a way to set up more quickly when you start the iPhone, but then you can change it and you don't notice anything.

Hi Jonny. There are some websites that fail. You can try looking for the name of the web next to RSS or FEED. Sometimes touching the icon that is orange as a side wifi signal (rss) is added directly.

Hello, Augusto. Sincerely I dont know. I have the same problem on some blogs. Try disabling News syncing with iCloud to see if you solve it.
