How to avoid automatic syncing of your iPhone or iPad with iTunes

Avoid automatic syncing of iPhone or iPad in iTunes

Don't you like that every time you connect your iPhone or iPad it syncs with iTunes? This has an easy solution.

To disable this function that is activated by default, we have to enter iTunes, access the Preferences menu, enter the "Devices" tab and select the option "Do not allow automatic syncing of iPod, iPhone or iPad«.

With these simple steps, you will prevent your iOS device from syncing automatically, something especially annoying if we use wireless synchronization during the day since it occupies all the bandwidth of our local network.

Hello. The problem is that iTunes hasn't been on iPhones and Macs for a few years now, it's been replaced by Music, and the "Devices" option is no longer on this app.
I have a problem, every time I connect my iPhone to my Mac it tends to automatically sync and download several Gbs of useless info, apart from making a Backup that I don't want either
I just want to transfer some songs and I can't.
    Thank you for your help.
