How to change the default search engine in Safari

With the arrival of iOS 6, the relationship between Apple and Google seemed to falter after the expulsion of the applications that were natively included by Apple in the different versions of iOS. The end of this commercial agreement did not affect the search engine that Apple used by default in Safari. Since the first versions of iOS, Google has always been the default search engine of the Safari browser, not because it was the best, simply because the Secret deal they had reached brings Apple's coffers about $ 1.000 billion each year, plus a portion of the advertising revenue derived from the devices the Cupertino-based company makes.

Fortunately, like many other iOS features, Apple allows us to change this default browser and use Bing, Yahoo or DuckDuckGo. For some time now, many people have taken a liking to Google, due to the supposed deal it does with all the data it collects from our browser and through the mail, but you have to bear in mind that with something you have to pay the invoices for search engine services, Google, YouTube ... Change the default browser in Safari on iPhone or iPad

• First of all we head up Settings.
• Inside Settings, we go to Safari, located in the fifth option block.
• In the Safari options we find as the first option Search. Click on that option to display all the available options: Google, Yahoo, Bing and DuckDuckGo.
• Now we just have to schoose our favorite option and exit setup.
