How to check if your iPhone's UDID has been leaked

A few hours ago we reported that the AntiSec hacker group had leaked on the internet one million UDIDs belonging to iPhones. This information had been obtained through a stolen FBI laptop And the controversy has not been long in coming: why does the FBI have this personal information of millions of users?

According to a statement from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, "they are aware of the news, but so far they have not obtained any type of evidence that indicates that one of their computers was stolen or that the US agency had collected this type of information." So the FBI for the moment washes its hands.

Although AntiSec has published a million UDIDs on its website, the hacking organization claims that it has up to 12 million identifiers Found on the FBI computer.

Is your UDID in the leaked million? You can check it through the page -secure- LastPass. For this you have to insert the first five digits of your UDID. This is how you can get the identifier of your iOS device:

  • Connect iPhone to iTunes
  • Click on the device name and go to the Serial Number
  • Click on the Serial Number and you will get your UDID

Even if your UDID does not appear on the page, it may be compromised within the 11 million identifiers that AntiSec has not yet leaked. Hopefully the FBI respond soon to this controversy.

Well speculating, if we put our UDID it is as if we supplied it, the other thing is if it was really taken from the FBI or people with jailbraek. or if with this you want us to enter our own UDID and give it to the hackers

On the other hand, when I went on a trip to the USA this year, all the police, firefighters or security, to say even the homeless had an iPhone 4 or 4s, it may be that that database is only of government employees

And since when are the homeless government employees? 😛

When I enter mine it appears on the page and the name that I assign to my iPhone, what problems can this cause me? I am somewhat worried: S

If they have yours, it would be good to explain if you have jailbraek and if you were infected with those famous DNS that the FBI closed weeks ago

      1.    Pedro said

Well, let's see, my iPhone doesn't have a jailbreak, it's from August 12, which makes me think that the FBI's tracking is from later days. Regarding the famous DNS, nothing, I did not get anything or notice anything.
        All the best

My UDID has been leaked .. what do I do? ..

  8.   fat said

Wait, when checking the other numbers and letters, I have noticed that it is not my udid .. I mean that this page is not 100% reliable

  9.   lokosw said

come on gentleman esp is fake just want to get our udid to know god don't be fooled

    1.    Tommy said

lokosw, if you read the page to which they send you a little, you will realize that it is not necessary to enter all your code. With putting the first digits it is enough for it to do a scan and thus you do not give them your entire UDID ...

After entering the first 5 characters of my UDID, it throws me the following message:
Your UDID was one of the ones that was leaked.

The strange thing is that it corresponds to a 2nd generation iPad that I do not own ...
Is there someone who can explain this to me?

    I think this is a joke ...

    1.    tukku said

The same thing happens to me xD ..

      1.    @ antor76 said

It will be what you say above, it is not 100% reliable ...
In addition to that in other blogs and newspapers they ensure that it only serves to filter the possible affected UDIDs, not that they correspond to each one ...

According to this, my udi has been leaked, although I am not sure that it is true, because the rest of the series does not match ... but, should I change the password?

  12.   Lolo said

Entering the first 5 numbers of the udid is only to filter all those that begin with those numbers and that your search is easier .. You do not have to be very clever to see that it is only a filtering method to help you see if this or not marked your udid ...

  13.   White said

If I'm honest, this website doesn't really give me much confidence…. It is as if there is a credit card filtering and they give you a website so that you can give the account number to check it…. anyway…

  14.   Lolo said

Put 5 numbers of 40 something and guess your udid ... Come on, they have won it ...
That you compare me one thing and another ... Oh god

  15.   Ferdi said

I put the 5 digits in it and it comes out that is laked, but the munero does not match beyond those 5 digits ... the rest is not even close ... hahahahaha

This article is old, it is on the Internet since September 4, 2012 apart to check the UDIDs of the iphone on that page. CAN IT BE? NOBODY ASSURES ANYTHING from the FBI and you yourself give them the information of your computer of what you have installed and your email accounts or social networks and much more this is due to the amount of robberies that have been a greeting and thanks
