One of the options that we have available for a long time is change the default Google search engine on our iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. This is one of those options that we had already seen in Actualidad iPhone, but today we are going to remember it.
In this case, the one that comes automatically is the one from Google, but we can use the one from Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo or even Ecosia. This is an option that few users usually touch but that is interesting to take into account if you want to change and stop using Google.
The options to make this change are very simple and we will have no problem doing it. Once the search engine has been changed each time we enter Safari, the one chosen by the user will be used and not the one from Google. For this we have to access the Settings of our iPhone, then access Safari and at the top click on Search. In the following image we show it to you:
Now you can enjoy another browser beyond Google, so do not hesitate to test the power of the other browsers that we have available in the Safari settings. Within these Safari options we have other options and settings available such as Autofill, the place where our downloads will be located from the browser itself and many others.
The change of browser is something that you have to try sometime to see that not everything revolves around Google's, although it is true that they are all very similar, some users are reluctant to use Google's.
