How to hide purchased apps in iOS 8 (App Store)

App-Store-stars

One of the functions that I like the most about iCloud is that it allows us to know which applications we have bought with our Apple ID in all the iDevices in which we have put our account, What is the purpose of this function? Know which apps we have purchased in our Apple ID, download those apps purchased without entering our password ... But some apps still don't want them to appear as "Purchased Apps", Thanks to a trick available in iOS 8 we can remove them from our terminal (from the purchased applications section, not from our terminal if we have them installed). After the jump, the steps to hide these purchased apps from the section: "Purchased".

Hiding apps purchased from the App Store with iOS 8

The goal of this tutorial is hide some purchased apps from the "Purchased" section of the App Store in iOS 8, to do this:

  • We enter the App Store, as long as we have iOS 8 on the device where you would like to follow the tutorial
  • At the bottom, in the menu, we go to «Updates»
  • At the top of the section we will see a label: «Bought», If we click on it, we will access a menu with all the apps purchased with our Apple ID on any device, although we have different ways of filtering the apps purchased to know where those purchases have come from if we have not made them.
  • To hide one of those purchased apps, we slide our finger to the left on the app that we want to hide, and click on hide.

It is a very simple process although This process will delete the apps purchased from the section: "Purchased", although we can download this app for free because we have already bought it before, even if it is not on the list, it appears in our Apple ID.
